It is reported that after Changan failed to transfer Changhe Suzuki's production qualification last year, it is now planning to withdraw Changhe Auto, another Hefei Changhe with vehicle production qualification.
It has been reported that Changhe Automobile has taken the initiative to present its parent company, Chang'an, to hand over its Hefei Changhe Automobile Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Hefei Changhe). It is understood that Hefei Changhe is a manufacturer with independent vehicle qualifications. After this change, Changhe Hefei will become a subsidiary of Chang'an and will be leveled with Changhe Automotive and will be transformed into Changan's production base in Hefei. Its production will be Chang'an re-injected, the original production of Changhe models will return to Changhe Automobile.
However, the above argument was opposed by Changhe Automobile. "Changhe did not 'actively' hand over Hefei Changhe and its production qualifications, and the media's disclosure of 'active' hand-in mentioning is worth pondering." A number of insiders from Changhe Automotive said that because auto manufacturing qualifications are related to the survival of enterprises, Changhe The auto company currently has only two production qualifications for Changhe Suzuki and Changhe Automobile. If the production qualification of Changhe Automobile is handed over, the entire Changhe Company will become a joint venture company of Chengchanghe Suzuki, and its own brand development and original models will not be able to survive.
According to relevant sources close to Changhe’s high-level automotive industry, Chang’an has plans to collect Changhe, Hefei. “In August of last year, Changan hinted to Changhe Automobile that it hoped to take the initiative to surrender Changhe River in Hefei, but the follow-up of this incident has not progressed.â€
The person in charge of Changan admits that the development of the incident is indeed ongoing as rumors.
Hefei Changhe Changan Fuyun micro-car production
After Hefei Changhe was changed to Changhe Auto's wholly-owned subsidiary in 2007, the production qualification of Changhe Automobile was transferred to Hefei, paralleling the production bases of Jingdezhen and Jiujiang (the above two bases producing Changhe Suzuki) in Jiangxi. According to the above-mentioned Changhe insiders, after Changan’s reorganization and adjustment, the current Hefei Changhe base is parallel to Changhe, Jiangxi, and is directly attributable to Chang’an. At the end of November 2011, Changan signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the government of Hefei Changhe, planning to invest 1.729 billion yuan to expand the first phase of the project to reach 150,000 commercial vehicle production capacity. According to the plan, this year Hefei Changhe will also start the second phase of the construction project, and in 2015 will build a new base with a maximum capacity of 400,000.
