In the WEDM process, the benchmark is very important. Wire cutting itself belongs to precision machining. If the reference correction is not good during machining, the quality of the workpiece cannot be guaranteed and the effect of use is affected. For a workpiece with a small workpiece shape and a small processing area but a large number of workpieces (as shown in Fig. 1), it can be completed by multiple clamping operations due to the limitation of the machining thickness of the machine tool. In this way, the baseline needs to be corrected before each processing, which virtually increases the workload.

The configuration of the positioning reference block is very simple, consisting of electromagnets, reference blocks, and machine tool holders (as shown in Fig. 2). Since the workpiece processing part needs to be vacant, only a small amount can be placed on the clamping plate. The molybdenum wire penetrates into the center of the pre-bored hole, and the x and y slide values ​​recorded for the first time can be processed. A, B surface to maintain vertical, and have a certain surface roughness requirements, the reference block does not exceed the height of the electromagnet. The tool is simple to manufacture, easy to operate, time-saving, high efficiency, strong adaptability, easy to promote and apply.
