The stirring cyanidation method is to concentrate and dewater the ore after the grinding and classification to a suitable concentration, and then add the cyanide solution, stir, inflate and leaching. The pulp in the leaching process or after the leaching is adsorbed by the activated carbon or the resin to absorb the dissolved gold , or the gold-containing solution after the solid-liquid separation is replaced with zinc to recover the gold. After the cyanide tailings are disinfected, they are sent to the tailings storage and storage.
When the gold ore contains a large amount of clay minerals, and the secondary slime is easily generated in the grinding, and the particulate gold content is high, the whole mud stirring cyanidation method can be used for gold extraction.
The stirring cyanidation method can be divided into two types: continuous and intermittent stirring cyanidation according to the leaching method.
When the gold is extracted by the continuous stirring cyanidation method, the slurry flows through several stirring barrels in series, and the slurry flows between the tanks by self-flow or pumping. When the cyanidation method is used for the gold extraction by intermittent stirring, the slurry is charged into several stirring leaching tanks which are operated in parallel, the gold leaching process is finished, and the slurry is discharged into the storage tank for filtration. Thereafter, another batch of new slurry is placed in the tank to continue leaching.
The continuous stirring cyanidation method has the following advantages over the batch method:
1) The production capacity of the leaching tank is improved because the loading and unloading time is saved;
2) No storage tanks, reducing infrastructure and production costs;
3) Automate the production process.
