Video surveillance system is currently one of the security precautions adopted by banks. For example, cameras are installed on bank counters, vaults, self-service banks, and ATMs for monitoring. However, these systems are usually isolated and cannot be centrally managed on a unified platform. At the same time, due to the lack of advanced video analysis technology, the monitoring is completely completed manually, and the efficiency of pre-warning and post-investigation is extremely low.
With the increasing maturity of intelligent analysis technology in recent years, the banking industry has begun to consider and gradually introduce intelligent security systems, aiming to improve the prevention efficiency of banking operations through intelligent security methods. At present, the intelligent monitoring system applied in the banking industry adopts advanced video analysis and identification technology, and combines various independent monitoring systems, which can effectively solve the problem of intelligent and centralized management of the bank monitoring system.
Monitoring construction scope
In 2012, the construction of an intelligent monitoring network platform project of a domestic bank. According to the needs of the bank, the platform construction includes business outlets, large treasury, small treasury, off-line A*** monitoring host, alarm host, and IP intercom equipment , Access control equipment, intelligent analyzers, etc. for centralized management and scheduling, to achieve centralized remote monitoring and early warning functions. This project has 68 outlets and 3 large treasuries to achieve network access.
System composition
The system is based on an intelligent monitoring and alarm management platform, including front-end intelligent analyzers, video overlays, and back-end monitoring system platforms, face comparison and recognition, and video quality diagnosis systems.
In addition, the platform is also connected to third-party systems such as the intelligent perimeter defense subsystem in important areas such as treasury to meet a variety of different business needs.
After the system is completed, it will realize intelligent analysis functions such as video surveillance, bank routine video analysis, ATM machine intelligent analysis, self-service banking behavior analysis, cash box parking time analysis, business counter video overlay and other intelligent analysis functions; at the same time, the core of the system- The intelligent monitoring and alarm management platform also provides a video quality diagnostic backup subsystem, which can timely detect abnormal situations such as video obstruction, network disconnection, and image quality degradation, and issue alarms to managers.
The entire system monitoring platform adopts distributed deployment, and the following intelligent analysis and video monitoring functions are designed and implemented in each monitoring area of ​​the bank:
*Self-service banking: its functions include conventional video surveillance, cash box placement time detection between refills, self-service banking behavior analysis and detection, and ATM intelligent analysis and detection;
*Off-line ATM: Its functions include conventional video surveillance, ATM machine intelligent analysis and detection;

While connecting to the above subsystems, the secondary monitoring management platform of the municipal branch reserves the function of docking with the provincial monitoring platform. The system diagram is shown in Figure 2.
The bank's intelligent monitoring network platform connects intelligent ATM machines, treasury, self-service banks, and business outlets to the branch monitoring management center through the bank's private network, and then to the provincial bank monitoring management center and banking business network through the bank's private network.
System function overview
The intelligent monitoring and alarm management platform adopted by the bank consists of three system levels: equipment access layer, platform service layer, and application layer.

1. Video quality diagnosis backup subsystem

2. Intelligent analysis of ATM
Intelligent analysis is the analysis of real-time video. It has great requirements for video quality, definition and installation angle. It is necessary to replace and shift some cameras of the bank to make the image clear.
ATM machine intelligent analysis is mainly to perform real-time intelligent analysis of the video illuminating the ATM panel camera and face camera. According to the requirements of the bank, the ATM machine can detect foreign objects on the panel, cash outlet, keyboard, and card slot at night, and capture the face. For photos, compare and analyze the captured face with the backstage face database.
3. Self-service banking behavior analysis
The self-service bank intelligent analyzer is an embedded intelligent video analysis device specially used for self-service banking. It can monitor the dangerous behaviors of personnel in the self-service bank hall in real time (such as one-meter trailing, personnel hovering for a long time), especially suitable for night monitoring. Users can customize the alarm type and alarm level according to their needs. The alarm information will be transmitted to the monitoring center through the network and can be linked to other devices in the self-service bank. The self-service banking behavior intelligent analyzer can be seamlessly integrated with the video surveillance system, effectively improving the security capabilities of the self-service banking.
The behavior analyzer is to perform intelligent analysis on the environment camera of the self-service bank and the camera in the cash replenishment room after setting the rules. When the behavior that crosses the rule area appears in the video, the warning is uploaded to the monitoring center. 4. Face recognition system
The face comparison recognition system uses domestic advanced face recognition technology to determine the identity of the face by extracting the characteristics of each part of the face.
The bank’s face comparison construction plan is to deploy an ATM intelligent analyzer on the ATM machines in the jurisdiction, and compare the face photos captured by the ATM intelligent analyzer with the pre-established monitoring personnel comparison library, so that suspicious persons can withdraw money in advance Early warning function.
5. Alarm remote control
The monitoring center remotely controls the front-end alarm host through the network, and realizes the functions of remotely arming and disarming the front-end alarm host, bypassing, and receiving alarm signals.
Since the bank’s alarm host is a CK2300 series product, in addition to uploading the alarm signal through the electrical* line, a network alarm communication module is added to each outlet, which is connected to the KEY+, DATA, and GND ports of the CK alarm host. Convert the communication interface of the alarm host to a network interface, and then transmit the alarm signal to the back-end management platform via the network, so as to realize the alarm linkage pop-up video of the alarm host.
6. Remote access control
Renovate the door control system of the original outlets, add network access controllers, electric locks, door magnetic sensors, etc., to realize the remote control opening and closing and status judgment of the security doors of the front-end small vaults and cash replenishing rooms, and realize After receiving the front-end intrusion alarm, the central management platform will automatically close the electric control lock and force the door to close.
7. Police superposition and upgrade
The alarm superposition is to combine a certain type of setting repeatedly received the same alarm within a certain period of time through the platform, and combine multiple alarms into one alarm, which effectively reduces the alarm processing work of the staff on duty.
The alarm upgrade is to associate multiple types of alarms, and the original multiple lower-level alarms will be upgraded into important alarms after the associated alarms, so as to prevent small alarms from causing major incidents.
