Barium Stearate is white light powder, specific gravity 1.145, insoluble in water, soluble in hot ethanol, decomposed into Stearic Acid and corresponding barium salt when it meets strong acid, it has hygroscopicity. It is mainly used for soft transparent film, sheet, artificial leather and hard board and tube. It can also be used as high-temperature release agent and high-temperature lubricant for machinery.
