On March 25th, Mr. Duan Ruichun, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and Mr. Jean Pierre Raffarin, former French Prime Minister, had a cordial meeting in Shenzhen, China. The two sides jointly launched the 2015 China International New Energy Automobile Exhibition, and conducted in-depth communication on the details of the 2015 China-Europe Urban Green & Smart Transportation Awards newly established in this year's exhibition.
2015 China International New Energy Automobile Exhibition will continue to invite Chinese and foreign first-class brands to showcase the latest models of new energy vehicles and cutting-edge spare parts technology, and invite European and American government procurement groups to visit the exhibition to inspect new energy vehicles. The 2015 China-Europe Urban Green & Smart Transportation Awards was initiated by the French Foundation for Vision and Innovation (formerly founded and chaired by former French Prime Minister Raffarin) and will be held in Hong Kong on November 26, 2015 with China International New Energy Automobile Exhibition. The 2015 China-Europe Urban Green & Smart Transportation Awards have 20 awards, each of which is awarded by a Chinese city and a European city. All cities from China and Europe can participate in the election free of charge. The participating cities need to submit the application materials before August 31, 2015. The expert jury will review the materials of the participating cities and select 20 award-winning cities. Each award-winning city will broadcast a 3-minute promotional video at the dinner to showcase its outstanding achievements in green and smart transportation. The participating city representatives will also have in-depth exchanges and discussions with dozens of cities from Europe.
Both parties are convinced that the awards will be able to expand the promotion of new energy vehicles and promote urban transportation technology innovation on a global scale.
