Bosch Purchases Swedish NIRA Indirect Tire Pressure Monitoring System

According to foreign reports, the Bosch Group has signed an agreement with Swedish company NIRA Dynamics to purchase an indirect tire pressure monitoring system (iTPMS) from the company for installation in its anti-slip control system.

According to Jr. Sturmhoebel, Chief Marketing Officer of NIRA Dynamics, “We have had years of understanding Bosch Group, a reliable and outstanding partner, and we are proud to be the company’s iTPMS supplier. This contract is for us. The opening of business opportunities and the global market has opened the door to this small enterprise. It is impossible for us to achieve this in the competition of the giants of the automotive industry."

With the increasing awareness of safety and environmental protection, the demand for anti-skid control systems and tire pressure monitoring systems has gradually increased in many markets. At present, the assembly rate of indirect tire pressure monitoring systems in the global market is about 5%, and this proportion is expected to increase to 25% by 2018.

Founded in 2001, NIRA Dynamics is headquartered in Link.ping, Sweden. The company focuses on the research and development of signal processing and control systems for the automotive industry. It is used in Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia. Car manufacturers and parts manufacturers supply.
