Development of High Corrosion Resistant High Temperature Special Valves

[China Instrument Network Instrument R&D] Recently, the special valves developed by the China National Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation's six institutes for the Shenhua Group have passed the inspection and acceptance, and have become the only valve in the world that can be used under the 160-degree limit of the strong acid medium. Technology has reached the international advanced level.

The valve is applied to fly ash extraction alumina industrial system. The system needs to use a large number of valves to control the acidic fluid medium. The valve is required to have high resistance to high temperature hydrochloric acid corrosion and anti-erosion. It is a worldwide problem and has been restricting the development of the acid production extraction alumina industrial production system.

In recent years, 11 of the six hospitals have focused on the valve sector and have achieved several breakthroughs in advanced technology. In the Tiangong-2 and Shenzhou-11 manned missions, the Beijing 11th Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation undertook the task of developing key products for pumps and valves in the thermal control and environmental control sub-systems, and realized thermal control and loops. Fluid control loop drive, control and regulation functions.

This time, through technical breakthroughs, 11 schools in the six hospitals have overcome key technologies such as high-temperature pinch valves used in fly ash extraction alumina process systems. It is understood that pinch valves have unique advantages in the transport of solids and fluids containing abrasive and corrosive substances such as particles, powders, fibers, and sticky materials, in the mining and metals industry, mineral processing industry, pulp and paper industry, and chemicals. The processing industry, energy industry and other fields have a wide range of application prospects. The successful development of the valve will lay a solid foundation for solving the demand for control valves of various specifications and applications for industrialized fly ash extraction alumina systems and industrial production.
