Development of testing equipment for domestic marine oil and gas pipelines

[China Instrument Network Instrument Research and Development] "Based on the electromagnetic holographic synergy marine in-service oil and gas pipeline detection instrument" project successfully passed the national major scientific research instrument research project project. The successful development of the project will break the monopoly status of China's oil and gas pipeline monitoring markets, which are all developed countries in Europe and America.

Recently, the R&D center of Shenyang Instrument Research Institute has received good news in the field of intelligent pipeline inspection. First of all, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (2016), a major national scientific research instrument developed jointly with Northeastern University and CNOOC Energy Development Equipment Technology Co., Ltd., was successfully approved for the development of marine in-service oil and gas pipeline instrumentation based on electromagnetic holographic synergy. The Institute is responsible for the sub-topic "Sensor Package Design and Tracer Positioning Subsystem Development." Secondly, a commissioned research and development phase 1 contract was signed with CNPC Pipeline Company Shenyang Shenyang Longchang Pipeline Inspection Center. During the period, several key issues have been resolved. The details of the second phase of the contract are currently under negotiation. Cumulatively allocated state funding and enterprise-funded research and development funds amounted to nearly 1.2 million yuan.
Oil and gas pipeline transportation is called the “blood of energy” of the country and plays a crucial role in the national economy. In recent years, China's pipeline oil (gas) mileage has shown rapid growth, rising from 58,300 km in 2008 to 90,100 km by the end of 2012, reaching 164,300 km by the end of 2015. It has been built “Northwest, Northeast "The four major oil and gas strategic channels, the "west, southwest, and the sea" have seen the scale of the three vertical and four horizontal pipeline corridors. In order to ensure the safety of the ecological environment and energy transportation, in-pipe testing is an internationally recognized effective method to ensure the safe operation of pipelines. However, so far, China's oil and gas pipeline monitoring market has been monopolized by developed countries such as Europe and the United States. During this process, in addition to being charged a large amount of service fees (about 3 million yuan/100 kilometers), it is even more critical that the state information of pipelines, such as pipeline operations and geographical coordinates, will be fully leaked, which poses potential for China’s national defense security. Threatened.
Faced with the huge space for development in the field of pipeline intelligent detection, the R&D center of the Shenyang Instrument Science Research Institute does not rely on it, takes the initiative, actively seeks a suitable market breakthrough, and tries to use the cooperation between enterprises to obtain funds for project research and development. Through the unremitting efforts of all employees of the R&D center, it finally signed a commissioned R&D contract with “PetroChina Pipeline Company Shenyang Longchang Pipeline Inspection Center”. While carrying out research on intelligent internal detection technologies for terrestrial oil and gas pipelines, the R&D center will also focus on the intelligent in-service detection technology for marine oil and gas pipelines, and apply for joint declarations with Northeastern University and CNOOC Energy Development Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. Major scientific research equipment development projects were successfully approved. This is the first time that the hospital has been granted funding for a national-level major research instrument development project, and it is also a major opportunity to get involved in the field of intelligent in-service testing of marine oil and gas pipelines. The project of cooperation with CNOOC and PetroChina’s two major state-owned backbone enterprises will become a golden key for the hospital to enter the core area of pipeline intelligence detection.
In 2016, the R&D center will focus on the strategically emerging industries of the country and the key areas that “Made in China 2025” will vigorously promote. In light of the actual situation, the research and development direction will be adjusted in a timely manner. Focus will be placed on the “intelligent and non-invasive detection technology and equipment for oil and gas pipelines” and “high-precision lasers. Drilling Key Technology and Equipment "Technology research in two areas.
