Titanium ore dressing plant - Union Minerals Company Eniba Concentrator (Australia)

Egypt tail (Eneabba) beneficiation plant put into operation in 1976, has 108 employees, an annual output of special mine 250,000 tons, including 35,000 tons of rutile, 70,000 tons of zircon, monazite a small amount, and the rest titanium iron ore . The heavy mineral reserves in the mining area are 10 million tons, and the average content of heavy minerals is 17%. The ore's ore size is extremely uneven, and the grit and mud content are relatively high. The pure mineral of ilmenite in the ore contains TiO 2 58%~60%, and the quality is very good.

The mine uses large bulldozers and scrapers for dry mining. The mining is carried out along the working surface. The working face is 300 meters wide, the excavation depth is 3 to 10 meters, and the annual mining volume is 7 million tons. The mined mines are piled up at a fixed point, and then a large front-end loader is used to feed a section of the sieve, and the product is sieved and then sieved. After two screenings, pebbles, weeds and +3 mm coarse sand were removed. After the second screening and screening, the product is de-sludged into the cyclone, and the underflow is sieved and concentrated once, and then sorted into a conical concentrator. The production principle process of the Eniba mining plant is shown in Figure 1.

The mining area is seriously deficient in water, and the production water is taken from a 500-meter deep well. In order to make full use of the return water, two measures have been taken. One is to put the roughing plant overflow into three large-scale concentrators with a diameter of 80 meters for recycling. Second, the sifting gravel is divided into dams, and the mud and coarse tailings precipitated by the concentrator are transported to the dam, and the water that has been cleared and percolated is returned to the water source. The concentration tank used in the plant is constructed of stones and sand, and is lined with plastic plates. The structure is novel.

The selection process of the Eniba Select Plant firstly uses wet magnetic separation to separate the coarse concentrate into two groups of magnetic products and non-magnetic products, and then scrub, dry and then enter the respective dry selection process. The galvanite concentrate is obtained by electrostatic selection and magnetic separation of the magnetic product. The non-magnetic product is electrically divided into two parts: conductor and non-conductor. The non-conductor part is electrified by magnetic separation, magnetic separation and wind shaker to obtain zircon concentrate. The conductor part is electrified and magnetically selected to obtain rutile concentrate. The principle selection process of the plant is shown in Figure 2.
