Allison automatic transmission

Allison combines products developed with high efficiency and environmental benefits and has an important market competitive advantage. Allison is committed to helping vehicles achieve higher performance and better driving performance with optimized power units and advanced hybrid systems.

Allison FuelSenseTM Fuel Saving Technology Strategy

The Allison FuelSenseTM fuel-efficient technology strategy maximizes the benefits of combining Allison's fifth-generation electronic control system with a fully automated transmission architecture to achieve fuel savings of up to 20%. This oil-saving solution can automatically select shift programs and torques, maximize work efficiency based on load, road grade, and operating conditions, while also ensuring that allison gearboxes are highly recognized by the fleet for high performance and ease of operation. Reliability and low maintenance costs. In the IAA showroom, Allison has established the FuelSense test area where visitors can experience the remarkable effects of fuel-efficient technologies.

Hybrid Systems - H 40/50 EPTM and H 3000 TM

Allison Transmission is a leading manufacturer of hybrid systems for commercial vehicles. The H 40/50 EP and H 3000 hybrid systems can greatly increase the fuel saving potential of commercial vehicles. So far, more than 5,600 buses equipped with the Allison H 40/50 EP hybrid system have been operating in 230 cities worldwide, while the H 3000 hybrid system for medium-to-heavy trucks is based on the Allison 3000 Series transmission specifically designed for loading. The fuel-efficient fuel consumption development and design can save fuel consumption by up to 25%.

Natural Gas Engine - Euro VI Econic NGT

Allison Automation is fully suitable for the wide application of natural gas engines in the commercial vehicle market. The patented hydraulic torquer technology improves the natural gas engine's cycle response time and increases engine torque so that it can smoothly transmit power to the drive wheels when the vehicle starts. Therefore, regardless of whether it uses renewable natural gas or natural gas mixed with gaseous fossil fuels, Allison Transmission can provide superior performance for vehicles and improve fuel efficiency. At Daimler's booth C02 in hall 14/15, visitors can also see the new Mercedes-Benz truck carrying the Euro 6 Econic NGT gas transmission. The Allison 3000TM series automatic transmission also applies FuelSenseTM fuel economy technology strategy.

Intelligent start-stop technology - designed for low-carbon vehicles

In July, the "ETHOS" program, jointly developed by the California Energy Association and Cummins, adopted the new engine intelligent start-stop technology developed by Allison. The Cummins ETHOS 2.8L engine uses E-85 fuel, which is a mixture of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline. The Allison 2550 automatic transmission equipped with smart start-stop technology can make driving smoother and more fuel-efficient. So far, the Cummins ETHOS 2.8L engine has proven that reducing CO2 emissions by 50% is not a dream.
