The growth of fruit trees depends on irrigation. Research on water consumption of fruit trees is of great significance to the analysis of local water resources utilization. The real-time monitoring system of soil moisture has a very important role in the monitoring of soil moisture, which can reduce a lot of tedious work, and the results are accurate. It is very important to guide the implementation of conservation measures in orchards.

Monitoring of groundwater level and soil water was carried out in the Orchard Orchard of the Archery Farm on the Yeerhe River Irrigation Area using a real-time soil moisture monitoring system. The area of ​​the orchard is 12hm2. The main species are apples, pears, and peaches. The age of the orchard has reached more than 30 years. Orchard soil is light silty sandy loam. For monitoring the soil moisture of the orchard, the control of irrigation and the amount of irrigation are very effective.

According to the monitoring results of real-time soil moisture monitoring system, groundwater level rises after orchard irrigation, and the maximum depth of groundwater table is generally about 2m, and then it gradually decreases with time, until the next irrigation, the buried depth is mostly 3.2m. The result of measuring the soil moisture content and the ratio of soil weight to water content after irrigation can be approximately 25% of the total profile. The maximum water holding capacity of the soil is Hf. After the irrigation, the groundwater level dropped, and the soil was gradually drained. After one month (September 12, October 14), the soil moisture content distribution of 0-200cm was close to that before irrigation (August 10). The moisture content at the depth of 3.2m of the ground water level can be approximated as the maximum field capacity Hf, ie 25%. In this way, we can get the soil moisture profile when the groundwater level drops to 3.2m, or the stable moisture content Hc profile after soil dewatering.
