On November 13, 2013, the re-inspection meeting of 30,000 units of Yuchai’s engine remanufacturing project was held at Yulin Hotel. Present at the meeting were representatives from the National Development and Reform Commission, the China Automobile Industry Association, the Autonomous Region Development and Reform Commission, the Yulin Municipal Development and Reform Commission, and the Yulin City Industry and Information Technology Committee. The meeting was presided over by Ms. Moss New, Director of Circular Economy Department, National Development and Reform Commission. Chen Shijun, assistant to the general manager of Yuchai, and the leader of Sanfa Plant Li Yu attended the meeting and made reports.
It is reported that China's auto parts remanufacturing pilot work was officially launched in March 2008, and the National Development and Reform Commission has identified 14 companies to carry out pilot work on auto parts remanufacturing. Yuchai was included in the inspection unit for remanufacturing pilot projects. In the past several inspections, the expert acceptance team established the quality control system, the layout design of its own production line, the reverse logistics recovery system for remanufacturing, the construction of the sales channel network for remanufactured products, and the use of national remanufactured product identification. Waited for Yuchai in five aspects to put forward very good opinions and suggestions. The purpose of the re-re-inspection of the re-manufacturing project by the expert acceptance team once again came to Yuchai was to further verify and verify the relevant corrections in these five aspects.
Yuchai reported to the participants on the construction of the 30,000-unit engine remanufacturing project of Yuchai. Yuchai established a remanufacturing project in 2005. In 2008, it obtained the pilot qualification of the first batch of auto parts remanufacturing enterprises in the country. After six years of exploration and construction, the pilot project of engine remanufacturing has been completed, and it has an annual output of remanufactured parts and components. Engine production capacity of 30,000 sets. The implementation of the project can create economic benefits of 140 million yuan, create more than 300 jobs, save more than 1,600 tons of standard coal, and reduce 4,800 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
The acceptance expert group affirmed the work of the Yuchai Remanufacturing Project and hopes that Yuchai will continue to play its own advantages and establish a new model, striving to introduce the experiences of more companies as typical units. The re-acceptance data of remanufacturing projects submitted by Yuchai, the expert acceptance group agreed to submit the data to the National Development and Reform Commission for verification.
The new director of the National Development and Reform Commission commented on the reconsideration meeting of this project and affirmed the progress of Yuchai . He said that Yuchai's rectification work on the five aspects of the recommendations made by the expert acceptance group was implemented well, especially in the quality control system. As a national brand, Yuchai invested heavily in technology research and development. We hope to continue to strengthen the R&D and investment in remanufacturing, increase the value and production efficiency of remanufactured products, and integrate remanufacturing planning into overall strategic considerations.
