Five directions for EU machinery and equipment manufacturing

Introduction: The EU is the birthplace of machinery and equipment manufacturing. Machines and equipment derived from knowledge achievements and technological innovations have replaced the human labor and created the world's industrial revolution. They have completely changed the course of human economic and social development. So far, the European Union has still maintained its leading position in the world of machinery and equipment manufacturing. However, the pressure on competition and environmental protection are mounting. To increase R&D and innovation, and actively improve the traditional production mode of machinery and equipment manufacturing and machine manufacturing, has become the key to the EU’s ability to maintain its future competitiveness.

To this end, the EU has identified five directions for R&D innovation and future development for the machinery and equipment manufacturing industry:

1, green low carbon machine. Reduce the use of raw materials, make use of recyclable materials as much as possible to replace machine parts, avoid the generation of waste in the production process of machines, set standards for machine elimination and recycling, and reduce the energy consumption of the entire production machine.

2, automatic intelligent machines. Pay attention to the special needs of users, improve the overall design of the machine, make full use of advanced technological achievements such as digital information, optimize automatic control devices, strengthen automatic error correction capabilities, and simplify machine operation procedures.

3, high-quality energy-saving machines. Increase machine functions, reduce the loss of machines and components, improve thermal stability, acceleration and other excellent features, extend the life of the machine and components, improve machine energy efficiency and output power, reduce user cost.

4, improve business models. Strengthen the communication with the users, pay attention to the user's quality feedback, concise and clear instructions, increase after-sales service, improve the routine maintenance rate of the machine operation process, share the user's anxiety and risk sharing.

5, knowledge sharing mechanism. Strengthen common R&D and innovation activities, attach importance to the technology transfer and training of component suppliers, improve the technical level of after-sales service personnel, standardize the user's operating manual and training, and hold new product and new technology demonstrations and briefings.
