MVA in Buffalo Grove, 12-4-22

This is from Larry Shapiro: Buffalo Grove police and fire responded to a three-vehicle collision last week on December 4, 2022, at the intersection of Deerfield Parkway and Buffalo Grove Road. One of the vehicles left the road, crashed through a fence, and struck a tree. The driver of that car required emergency extrication. The other two vehicles were still in the roadway. One of the drivers was ejected from the vehicle during the crash. Two injured individuals were taken to the hospital by ambulances from Buffalo Grove and Long Grove. The scene was chaotic, with debris scattered across the intersection and emergency crews working quickly to secure the area. Local residents reported hearing the crash and rushing to the scene to see what had happened. Firefighters and paramedics worked together to stabilize the injured and ensure the safety of all involved. Larry Shapiro captured several images of the crash site, offering a visual account of the aftermath. These photos show the extent of the damage and the efforts of first responders in the immediate wake of the accident.
