MVA in Buffalo Grove, 12-4-22

On December 4, 2022, the Buffalo Grove Police and Fire Department responded to a three-car collision at the intersection of Deerfield Parkway and Buffalo Grove Road. One vehicle veered off the road, crashed through a fence, and struck a tree. The driver of that car required emergency extrication. The other two vehicles remained on the roadway. One of the drivers was ejected from the vehicle. Two injured individuals were transported by ambulance from the scene—both patients were taken to local hospitals via units from Buffalo Grove and Long Grove.

The crash site was clearly visible, with one vehicle partially crushed against a tree and another flipped over. Emergency crews worked quickly to free the trapped individual and stabilize the others. Local tow trucks were also on scene, helping to clear the area. This type of accident highlights the importance of safe driving, especially in busy intersections. As always, the first responders did their job efficiently and professionally.
