2011 Aluminum Pipe
The 2011 aluminum alloy is a copper-containing aluminum alloy, known for its excellent machinability and free-cutting properties. Due to the addition of bismuth (Bi), it is considered one of the most easily machined aluminum alloys. In medium-strength applications, the T3 temper offers superior formability with lower strength, while high-strength applications should use the T8 temper. This alloy is ideal for automated lathes, as it produces fine chips and has a self-cleaning surface, reducing the need for chip separators. With an A-level machining performance, 2011 is widely used in mechanical components, automotive oil system parts, clock gears, pipelines, and audio-visual connectors.
