According to the monitoring of 36 large and medium-sized cities throughout the country, the prices of domestic cars and imported cars both declined slightly in September.
Domestic car prices fell slightly
In September, domestic auto prices fell by 0.29% from the previous month, and the rate of decline was unchanged from the previous period. The price fell by 3.01% from the beginning of the year, with the prices of passenger cars and commercial vehicles falling to varying degrees.
The decline in the price of passenger cars has slowed down. In September, the price of passenger cars changed from a decrease of 0.70% in the previous month to a decrease of 0.18%, a decrease of 0.52 percentage points from the previous month and a decrease of 3.67% from the price of the previous year. Among them, the prices of basic and sports passenger cars and minibuses decreased by 0.30%, 0.06% and 0.20% respectively from the previous month.
Commercial vehicle prices continued to fluctuate slightly. In September, the prices of commercial vehicles rose from high to low, which was a quarter-on-quarter decrease from the 0.27% rise in the previous month to a decrease of 0.48%, a decrease of 1.88% from the price at the beginning of the year. Among them, the passenger car prices continued to decline slightly, which was a drop of 0.47% from the previous month and a decrease of 4.39% from the price at the beginning of the year; the prices of light and large passenger cars were reduced by 0.55% and 0.41% respectively; the prices of trucks were oscillating lower and rose by 0.78% from the previous month. For the decrease of 0.49%, the price was up 2.52% from the beginning of the year, and the prices of light, medium and heavy trucks dropped by 0.34%, 0.97% and 0.22% respectively.
Imported car prices dropped steadily
In September, the prices of imported automobiles fell for two consecutive months, and the decline was noticeably narrower than the previous period. The chain-to-line decline narrowed from 1.84 percent in the previous month to 0.19 percent, a decrease of 0.23 percent from the price at the beginning of the year. Among them, the import of off-road vehicles prices fell slightly, the ring from the previous month rose by 1.37% to 0.50%, a decrease of 3.44% over the beginning of the price; import car prices fell 4.04% last month, prices rebounded slightly this month, the chain rose 0.41 %.
