Cummins has announced that it has officially signed a memorandum of cooperation with Vietnam’s largest state-owned commercial vehicle manufacturer, Vietnam Automotive Industry Corporation, on the establishment of a 50:50 joint venture to produce Cummins vehicle diesel engines in Vietnam.
As part of the economic and trade cooperation agreement between Vietnam and the United States, Cummings Group Vice President of Emerging Markets Cao Side attended the signing ceremony hosted by Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung in New York.
